The sense of Fall is here. Full moon. School has started. There is Halloween candy in the stores. I have been going through my photographs and have seen all the things I have done this Summer. It has me thinking about what I want to do this Fall. I already have set professional and personal goals. But more specifically, I am thinking with regards to self sufficiency. I have an idea of where I would like to be someday… have a garden, have chickens, solar power…. But I am not any where near that right now. But that doesn’t mean I can’t get there or that I can’t have totally different aspirations in the mean time. So, I have come up with three goals for this Fall.
1. Learn about and try making my own beauty products.
2. Learn more about freelancing.
3. Go to the farmer’s market more often.
I have always wanted to ask for everyone to write what self sufficiency means to them. We are all in different places with different resources and different knowledge. This is a great way to see what it means to each of us, this season.
What are your self sufficiency goals this Fall? Post your comments below so that we can see what each other are doing and offer a little encouragement! Feel free to blog about your goals and leave a link to it in your comment.
