Here is our updated garden photo. The corn is about 12′ tall and some of the other stuff has grown in more. Our lemon tree surprised me this week. It’s always been about 4′ tall. This week while walking by it Tom pointed it out. I looked over and all of a sudden it was taller than me! It’s grown 2′ in a matter of weeks. The other citrus trees are doing well, but not nearly as well as the lemon tree. You can see in this post where we were at in the beginning of May to get an idea of how great everything is growing in.
Awesome corn! We don't get enough sun here for it which is a bummer. Love lemon trees and we used to have one but it died sadly. I see you have window and brick piles just like we do! This must be an urban homesteading trait. 🙂 Makes me feel bonified or something!
Nice! We didn't plant corn at our home garden, but I did plant corn at our school garden. It is growing nicely! Gets me in the mood for hot apple cider and pumpkins! 🙂
@Bobbi, it sure does! Last year we weren't really in to mood for Halloween or even fall for that matter which are our favorites. I chalk it up to Halloween overload from our wedding the previous year. This year I'm already excited!
