I promised a photo of Lucy’s kits when they came out of the box. Well, as of Saturday they were 15 days old and still hiding in the back of the nest box. So I took it upon myself to remove them from the box and put them on the wire. All of a sudden it was like they woke up. They started exploring their hutch and chewing on toys. Lucy kept a watchful eye on them. I put them back in the box before it cooled off, but they didn’t stay in there. They got a taste of freedom. They spent all day out of the box on Sunday so I was finally able to get a picture of them. So, without further ado, I present you with gratuitous cuteness…
Aww, I love baby bunnies!! I can't wait until next week when I get to start breeding again 😀
This is just driving me nuts! I'm hunting and hunting. And I'm not settling for less. I've got to have another "Huzzie" – my most prized French Lop. She hated men! LOL But she was the BEST mother! And her babies came out so good-natured.
With that much cute, how am I supposed to get any work done? 😛 Adorable little fuzzy buns!
Adorable bunnies, with the cutest little ears, but beware of wire bottomed cages!! Last year a baby guinea pig got his little foot stuck in the wire and broke it – literally twisted it almost off! It was gross and horrendous and I felt horrible afterward (he was put out down, of course). I've heard rabbits can get their nails caught and ripped out with them too.
