Quaking Canopy Rosalind

DOB:05/08/2023

Sire: Quaking Canopy LvLng N Prosper “Spock”
(Castle Rock Beam Me Up “Scotty” x Quaking Canopy Gamora VEEV 89)

Dam: Quaking Canopy Juliet Capulet
(Quaking Canopy Dexter x Quaking Canopy Josephine VEEE 91 “Josie”)

I had a doe kid reservation on Skylla, who now lives at Quaking Canopy Farm, but when that didn’t pan out I started looking at reserving a doe kid from another breeding. Josephine is my favorite doe of Amanda’s but I know that she will never ever part with any doe kids from her. I was sort of thinking about Josie’s daughter Juliet, but then Amanda shared a current photo of Juliet and I knew that was the doe I wanted a kid from.

One of the other does that I was considering reserving a kid from was Quaking Canopy Gotham, who is a gorgeous Scotty daughter. Her littermate brother is the sire of Rose, so I feel like I hit the genetic jackpot here.

Rose is a vivacious little spitfire. She’s very well balanced with a nice wide rump from hips to pins. She has lovely flat bone, good spring of rib, and solid legs.

Quaking Canopy Rosalind scored GGGV 83 as a yearling FF. Even though she’s an immature yearling, she scored a 24 in rump width even though she only was a 21 in stature. Other highlights: 36 in fore udder attachment, 39 is rear udder height, and a 36 in dairyness.
