I get asked a lot about what to plant when. So, I’ve decided that Fridays I’ll share what I plan on planting, harvesting, transplanting, and pruning the coming weekend. Now, this is pretty much only for the San Francisco Bay Area. And even here it’s different than other areas of the Bay Area. So of course take it with a grain of salt and just use it as a simple guide.
So for this coming weekend I plan:
Transplanting-
Spinach
Beets
Lettuce
Start-
Carrots
Watermelon
Melon
Pumpkins
Winter Squash
Cucumbers
Other Farm Chores-
Work on stone borders
Birth a goat!
Breed rabbits
Pull out old peas
Build trellises for new peas
